What have the boys been doing?

This past week an organization called Living Lands and Waters visited the Paducah Riverfront in an effort to create awareness of the importance of keeping our waterways clean.

Some of the boys at Patina joined others from our area to actually head out and clean up Owen's Island off of the Paducah Riverfront. (You would be amazed at what floats past our riverfront and ends up there.)  All of the trash then goes to "the trash barge" and disposed of properly. The boys also got to tour the Living Land and Waters Recycle Barge.

It was an awesome experience and we hope you REmember to REcycle, REpurpose, REuse, and REclaim. Keeping our waterways clean is an everybody issue.
